Dobson Telephone makes donation to American Legion renovation

However, renovations are moving slower than expected, Wes Elliott, legion member, said. “Companies like Dobson have stepped up and taken on a good burden of the costs, but we are still around $7,500 short,” Elliott said. One problem was solved for heating and air when Chris Foote donated the duct work and installation of the new units. The Iron Plainsmen Motorcycle Club of Oklahoma City recently sponsored a poker run and auction to benefit the Legion renovation project. “From a personal point of view, I am glad to see the renovations occurring. My dad was an original member when they started the building,” Hill said.
